Unless something is done urgently by the MTN Nigeria
to stop the immediate porting of Anambra people to other networks, the network will
loose customers.
Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that MTN owns 500 base
stations out of the 1,125 Base stations in the state.
Chika Onwuameze said MTN is a criminal minded
company, the company cheats on Anambra people by drop calls , message even when
it did not go . This 606 borrow me card they are robbing Peter to pay Paul; they
are making more money than recharge card.
They are to pay 50 percent tax or we abandon them
because they are not friendly at all.
It would be recalled that Anambra state IGR
allegedly demanded tax from the networks based on their base locations as done
in other states of the Federation but
were resisted by the network group .
Joseph Eze , most of calls that did not go and
messages that did not deliver they collect money . They will know their network
was bad and they still tax their customers and deduct money fro them unnecessarily.
They should have a change of heart of we port to another network.
Anambra
especially Onitsha hosts the greatest majority of MTN users and MTN have been
smiling to the banks from Anambra state and were asked to pay alongside other networks
a token of N700, 000 or less based on negation for each mast location.
Efforts to get MTN in Onitsha or Awka to speak on the matter proved abortive as well as the IGR Board of Anambra state Government.
