Tears and wailing were profound
now at a scene of a building collapse near the headquarters of T.B.
Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nations in Ikotun, Lagos which collapsed
today around 1pm reports odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com.
The six-floor
structure is under construction, trapping scores of people even as many were feared
killed.
The National
Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the building, a guesthouse for foreign
members of preacher TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All nations came down in
the Ikotun area of the city.

pulled from the wreckage of the six-floor structure.
Lagos State Emergency Management
Authority Public Relations Officer, Friday Adeboayo, confirmed
recovery of about15 dead bodies while unofficial sources said 20 have been
recovered.
TB Joshua, known
as "The Prophet", is one of Nigeria's most famous preachers and
televangelists with thousands of followers across the world, attracted by his
purported healing powers and prophecies and his church "hosts thousands of national
and international visitors" every year.
"People
travel from around the world to witness and receive from the mighty work that
God is doing in the life of Prophet TB Joshua," states the site.
