Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra
State has approved N300 million for the control of erosion at Ebenator in Nnewi
South Local Government Area.
The governor, who was on a thank you
visit to the place, also said he had given a marching order to the contractor
handling the Ichida-Azigbo-Amichi- Osumenyi and Akwaihedi road to complete it
on or before the contract agreement date of completion.

of continuity.
Speaking to reporters shortly after
the event, the liaison officer to the governor in Nnewi South constituency ll,
Mr Igwe Jerome, said the governor had since assuming office, given a life line
to the people of Nnewi South by providing developmental projects which past
governments failed to do.
“I must tell you that my people have
never had it so good until this Dr Willie Obiano government came on board jus
few months ago.
“Truly a Daniel has come to
judgement in Anambra state.Apart from this, our dear governor without delay
corrected the imbalance in the appointment of our people into political
offices. We are solidly behind his administration.”
Jerome, while calling on the people
of Nnewi South to support Obiano’s government, urged them to support President
Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election to enable him complete the good
job he had started.
