MASSOB MOURNS DIMGBA IGWE

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) Commiserate with the family of Mazi Dimgba Igwe, SUN Newspaper Publishing Company and Nigerian union Of Journalist (NUJ).

MASSOB received the news of Dimgba’s death with shock and bitterness of heart. The Late Dimgba was a noble Journalist with unique presentation. He’s a prolific writer who so much love his Journalistic profession with awe. His sudden exit from the field of Journalism creates big vacuum which may hardly be filled.

Dimgba was a faithful and loyal person who served his master Chief Orji Uzor Kalu in many Capacities and was loved by him. He was also loved by many including Chief Mike Awojinfa who worked side by side with him, they co-authored many books on Journalism, shared things together, they were almost inseparable but now death has suddenly put asunder in what Journalism joined together. MASSOB send our condolence also to Chief Mike Awoyinfa, Dimgba’s Journalist twin brother.

We shall miss his humors and special  column on Sun Newspaper. Ndigbo has lost another Iroko in Journalistic field.

MASSOB appeal to Federal and Abia State Government to immortalize Mr. Dimgba. Ndigbo will continue to honour and celebrate him.
