Jubilation As Governor Obiano Distributes One Bag Of Rice Each To Over 56,000 Civil Servants In Anambra state

It was jubilation and hurry in Anambra state as Governor Willie Obiano distributes one full bag of rice to each civil servant in Anambra state as he promised them during the civil service day.

Officials of the state government odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com asked to get the number of civil servants could not give and the Head of Service , Chid Ezeoke Mni has not been press friendly to start looking for clarifications from him but a Director said civil servants are about 5, 000 workers.

Nigeria Labour Congress Chairman Patrick Obianyo could not discuss with me when I called because he was in a noisy place but his Vice Chike Odili refused to speak about the distribution of rice in the state but confirmed the state workers are over 50 ,000 to about 60 ,000 including new workers and local government workers. 

Obiano is taking care of the civil servants but some are sabotaging his efforts as last time he bought coaster buses for easy transportation to and from work but some connived and vandalized the buses , stealing its brain boxes .

He has laid a foundation for estate for the civil servants at Isiagu aside other existing estates for the workers. …………
