Breaking News: Tragedy In Amanuke As Woman Raped And Killed In Her Home

                             

There is tension and apprehension in Amanuke, Awka North local government area this afternoon following the raping and killing of one Mrs Martha Ekulide in her house by unknown rapists.

The Nigerian police have swung into action to unravel the mystery behind the rape as the woman was stripped naked , raped and all her personal belongings made away with.

The late Martha’s in law bought all kinds of food stuff for her with cash on the day of the incident which occurred on Sunday night after a heavy down pour.

Efforts to contact the SA to Governor Wilie Obiano , Mr Chikodili Anara who is from the community or the PPRO Emeka Chukwuemeka for comments proved abortive but the community’s vigilante group led by one Chukelu Nkemdilim is said to be using all means possible to get to the root of the abomination unheard of in the community.

The soup and fufu the deceased wanted to eat was said to be still there waiting for her attention whereas she had died and was swollen before neigbours started saying they have not sen her since after heavy down pour on Sunday night and decided to force her apartment open only to see her dead swollen lifeless body and raised the alarm.

The daughter came and confirmed that all they brought for her were missing and with blood stains all over her it was confirmed she was rapped and she struggled for safety before her assailants overpowered her.

Her husbands brother is a top ranking officer and would not take the matter lightly ……………………
