Tragedy In Abia State As 5 killed At Former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu Home Town

                          

It was all wailing and tears today reports odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com as at least 5 people were killed at the Camp Neya home of Orji Uzor Kalu at Igbere in Bende Local Government Area, Abia State during a stampede.

There are about 4 old women and a male teenager that sustained serious injuries as well as several others who were wounded. The dead bodies were taken away by Kalu's aides.

 The incidence happened while the former Governor of Abia State was declaring his interest to run for the Abia North Senatorial seat in 2015 on the platform of Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA).

 Some eye witnesses blamed the incidence on the keeping the Kalu supporters outside for several hours before his arrival rather than inside the compound. S o when he arrived,  the rush to enter first by the mammoth crowd caused havoc rather than joy and marred the ex Governor’s declaration attempt.

Some others blamed it on the recklessness of Kalu’s back up vehicles as they judged wrongly by speeding in such a crowded arena knocking down people.

Kalu was to declare his interest for Abia North Senate in 2015 before  unfortunate incidence happened.

 Bende Divisional Police Officer and his men restored normalcy before it snowball it some other thing.
