PDP Rejects Osun Governorship Result As Police Minister Asks Omisore To Accept Outcome

             

 Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports that Osun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said it has rejected the result of the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.

But the Federal Minister of Police Jelili Adesiyan has advised Senator Omisore to accept defeat in the interest of love for one another.

 Speaking on the result,  the party secretary,  Prince Bola Ajao,  said the result was not acceptable to the political group,  saying  PDP  may likely seek redress in the Tribunal.

However,  some analysts in Osogbo   have  hailed the conduct of the poll by the INEC,  saying the conduct was orderly  and   done in good manner.

   Meanwhile,  the State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola today lamented that Nigeria remains in political bondage and expressed the urgent need to set the country free.

The Governor who stated this while reacting to his victory in the Saturday’s Governorship election in the state said he faced lots of challenges before he could emerge victorious in the poll.
