Breaking News: Catholic Church Demolishes Anglican Church In Nkwere Ezunaka ,Niger Diocese , Onitsha Anambra State

  Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports exclusively that barely 24 hours, Governor Willie Obiano visited and worshipped at St Williams Catholic Church, 33 Nkwelle Ezunaka, the catholic community in Nkwere Ezunaka yesterday’s night attacked and destroyed the church building of St Ebenezer’s Anglican Church in Oze Nkwere Ezunaka.

St Ebenezer’s worshipers said the church land was given to them since 25 years ago when they built on it by the community and wondered why the catholic community vowed to ensure Anglicans never survived in the community.

 Tension is already high as the Anglican community is spoiling for war against the Roman Catholic Church in the community for championing hate against Anglicans.  

Anglican prelate of Anglican diocese on the Niger,  Onitsha Archdiocese Bishop Owen Nwokolo has cried out to Governor Willie Obiano before there would be religious war between Anglicans and Roman Catholics as what happened in Nkwere Ezunaka has never happened in the history of the church.

The  priest in charge of the church, Rev Princewill Okonkwo  could not speak as he was dumb found founded  over the action of the Roman Catholic Church in Nkwere who vowed to ensure no Anglican church stands in Nkwere Ezunaka.

They called on Obiano t save them the embarrassment .

Efforts to get the Archbishop of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province , Most Rev Valerian Maduka Okeke could not yield fruits as he picks his phone and cuts it off and other efforts were channeled to a voice mail.

Already there is tension in the community as the Anglicans accuse the President General , Chief Chris Elumunor of having a hand in their predicament as the crisis started since his assumption of office. The PG’S line was not connecting as at press time for his reaction.
