Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports how the
families of Chinyelugo at Alor, Idemili-North Local Government Area of Anambra State,
will sing glory to God, Almighty for eternity for saving one of their
daughters; Miss Chikodili Chinyelugo, from an inferno which could have roasted
her like a yam tuber unripe.
The 12 year old teenager and a primary 1
pupil of Divine Joy Nursery and Primary School, Awka, miraculously
cheated death when a lit candle her mother haphazardly kept on top of a plastic
cooler besides her bed, in their bedroom for purpose of illumination burnt her half dead, even as the residence located
along Abuja Estate, opposite Government House, Awka, almost turned to ashes.

Daily reliably gathered that Mrs. Ifeoma
Chinelugo, mother of the little girl locked her in the room when she was asleep
and left to undisclosed destination at around 10 pm.
According to eye witnesses (names
withheld by us), hell was let loosed when the candle stick finished and sets it
beholder and the entire house ablaze.
Our reporter who visited the scene was
told that little Chikodili was spotted lying helplessly beside a window at the
time their next-door neighbours intervened to quench the fire.
"According to Mrs. Ifeoma’s next
door neighbour, her boyfriend woke her at 12a.m when he saw thick smokes oozing
into the room... But they were reluctant until the fire engulfed her room as
well... She said as soon as the fire interrupted with their affairs, they
quickly dashed out and raised alarm which attracted assistance of other
residents."
"I was among those woke as a result
of the inferno. We jacked the door and saw Chikodili squatting at the window
half dead; her head, neck and skin already dark as charcoal", a source
disclosed under condition of anonymity.

Daily further learnt that one of the
eyewitnesses phoned Mr. Isaac Nwosu, a comedian popularly known as AIZA NWOSU
who in furtherance contacted the members of Federal Road Safety Commission and
Anambra State Fire Service, but before their arrival at about 6 am, the fire
was already quenched.
Additionally, our sources said the trios
later conveyed Miss Chikodili to Princeton Specialist Hospital and Orthopedic
Centre, Phase 1 Extension, Udoka Estate, Awka, where she is currently receiving
medical treatment.
However, Orient Daily was informed that Mrs. Ifeoma was arrested and taken
to the State Central Police Station (CPS) when she got home at about 8am
following day.
When our reporter visited the hospital,
Mrs. Ifeoma was seen attending to the teenager.
In an interview, the careless woman
regretted her misdeeds, but apportioned blames to devil.
Mrs. Chinyelugo, who said she was later
bailed from the cell same day in order to look after her daughter in the
hospital, called on the general public to come to her daughter's rescue.
As at time of filing this report, Miss
Chikodili is recuperating in her hospital bed.
At
the same vein, Doctor in charge of Princeton Specialist Hospital&
Orthopaedic Centre, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, while stressing that God has taken
control of Miss Chikodili's life, confirmed that she would regained her life at
due course. He however, called for support in saving the girls life.
