Ngige Fires Back Says We Are Unfazed By Oranusi’s Decamping

     

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that following the decamping of Chief Ben Oranusi from the APC to APGA, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial zone in the Senate has said he and party faithful in Anambra remain unfazed by Oranusi’s defection

In a statement put out by his Media Assistant, Mr. Igboeli Arinze, the Senator described Oranusi's defection to APGA as a plus for the APC in Anambra state good for the party omen since as Oranusi was nothing more but a  toxic asset.

'As I speak to you now, let me assure you that all is well with the APC in Anambra State and despite Chief Ben Oranusi's tales by moonlight stories of how the Igbos have been relegated in APC and how the APC in Anambra will not be able to feature candidates in the 21 local governments of Anambra state, we remain unfazed and determined to justify ourselves as a party to trust in Anambra.

However, let us ask Oranusi when did he realize that Igbos had been relegated to the background or that we had no future in APC? Is it not surprising that such a statement should be coming from someone who aspired to become chairman of the party in the state but lost woefully to another candidate party faithful preferred? Will Oranusi have made such a statement if party faithful had by way of misfortune elected him as chairman?

APC today has Igbos filling key positions of the party, we will also feature prominently in the run off to the presidential primaries, so for Oranusi to turn now and spew such distasteful comments is quite sad.

We however thank APGA for receiving such toxic assets, considering the fact that this acclaimed 'strong man' has not been able to deliver his polling booth in past elections.
