The Igbo school committee wishes to officially notify you that the Igbo summer school will commence Monday July 14, 2014 from 8am till 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please endeavor to bring your children along with the registration forms and $100 tuition fee per child. Our new site is Westminster Church of Detroit located at 17567 Hubbell Street Detroit, MI. 48235. The Igbo school instructors are ready and very excited to meeting with you and your children.

We applaud you and your group for opening the Igbo school in Detroit Michigan. Many of us are delighted for these developments. Recently the Igbo Language classes opened in New England. We are all facing this problem from many fronts in an effort to keep our language and culture alive for future generations of Igbo children. It is a great thing that many of us are realizing that Igbo language is a critical part of who we are. We at CISA are partnering with Nollywood and other organizations in celebrating Igbo Arts and culture at the Igbo village in Staunton Va. You and your school teachers and students are cordially invited to the Igbo Village of Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton Va from July 24-26. Many dignitaries and VIPs are coming from all over the world for this historical event.
