My Wife Is A Slut, Estranged Hubby Tells Court

                 

Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports that my wife is a prostitute and a slut; she has desecrated her matrimonial home,’’ a cabinet maker, Samson Animashaun, told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday.

Animashaun, 37, wants the court to dissolve his 14-year-old marriage with Anirat, 34, a trader, on the grounds of prostitution and infidelity.

“My wife is dating many men, who come to pick and drop her in front of our house.

“She receives calls from them even at night in my presence. I once caught her red-handed with a man in our room,’’ he said.

He said since the woman had parked out of her matrimonial home to live with another man the union had already been severed.

The petitioner, Anirat, had urged the court to dissolve the marriage, alleging lack of care.

She said:“My husband does not take care of the family. He abandoned the children even when they were ill.

“I single-handedly paid the children’s hospital bills.

“He also denied me access to my children and threatened to kill me if I go near them.

Anirat, however, did not object to the dissolution of the marriage, saying she can no longer cope.

In his ruling, the President of the court, Mr R.I. Adeyeri, adjourned the case to Aug. 13 for judgment. (NAN)
