How 6 Members Of Two Families Were Killed In Ochuche As Obiano Condoles With Family

     

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the tragedy which struck Ochuche , Ogbaru local government Area Anambra state killing six members of two families, that  of Okechukwu and Nwadialor  was devastating. 

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the two families lost their beloved ones in the ghastly motor accident at Obodoukwu road on their way back from a wedding ceremony in Ekwulumili in Anambra State. 

The victims, Nwanyidi Okechukwu, Akwunjeri Okechukwu, Ngozi Okechukwu, Sunday Okechukwu and Ifeoma Okechukwu all from the same family; and another from Nwadialor family numbering six persons lost their lives in the incident.

Speaking at the condolence visit, the Igwe of Ochuche, Igwe  Paul Agaba (Ogidiga) commended the Governor for making out time to visit the family and making it a priority to condole with the deceased family.

He stated that the family went for a wedding ceremony and met their shocking end on their way back which has thrown the family and indeed the entire community in disarray.
Paying a condolence visit to the family in Ochuche, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano stated that part of the responsibility of any government is to care for the citizens.

He maintained that part of the concern of his administration is to visit and sympathize with the bereaved which is the human side of the administration as promised during his campaign.

The governor also revealed that effective from 1st of July, that there will be massive arrests of motor bike riders without crash helmets stressing that any vehicle that is not road worthy will be impounded.

 He also revealed that there will be a law against riding on bikes without crash helmets, and that road signs and law enforcement agents will be put in place so that people can stick to traffic rules.
