APGA COMMENDS GOVERNOR OBIANO ON ANAMBRA

LEGISLATURE INITIATIVE.

The ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA) Nigeria, hereby commend the Governor of Anambra State  - Chief Willie M. Obiano, on his laudable initiative at acquainting the Legislators of the Anambra State House of Assembly to Counterparts, Peers and democratic processes around the world.

This move parallels those of astute leaders who understand that the development of Human Capital is everything in politics. It is a human gift that keeps on harvesting. Our Party encourages that move which invests and develops Human Capital and its responsibility to the Government and electorate. Bravo!

Exposure is everything.

The APGA applauds his Excellency’s wisdom at engaging our legislators to live up to their political duties, by allowing them access and familiarity to other principals/processes of Government, particularly of the Legislature, including the articulation of public ideas and framing them into pro tem policy objectives, bills, how to proceed with the rudiments of legislation, ensuing legislative committee negotiations, and how to breed the necessary camaraderie between the arms of Government required to negotiate the Democratic process and make laws.

APGA looks forward to such investment in Human political development, which will benefit our electorate now, and more importantly in the near future as our democracy matures.  APGA encourages our legislators to use the opportunity to understand their role to their electorate, constituencies, Anambra State and Nigeria as a budding democracy.
