The National Conscience Party, NCP, Anambra state chapter has called on Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State to drop the use of arms only in fighting insecurity in the state but should consider youth employment as an alternative of turning the minds of the leaders of tomorrow in better prospective.

Speaking during the induction of a House of Assembly aspirant for Ogbaru II State Constituency, Mr. Arinze Nzelu, the National Chairman of the party, Unusa Tank represented by the state chairman, Sir Peter Okala urged Governor Obiano to remain focused and tackle the issue of youth unemployment as panacea to solving insecurity in the state. 
Welcoming Nzelu into the party, Sir Okala who described NCP as youth based party also called on the Anambra state governor to double his efforts in the area of creating jobs and employment for the teeming youths instead of using guns and other dangerous weapons to fight crime and criminality across the state.
He called on the governor to also address the issue of engaging the youths in the agriculture so that the state would become one of the food baskets of the nation while assuring that the party shall always support the genuine policies of the administration in the state to excel.
Earlier, the newly admitted member of the party and Ogbaru Ward II state Assembly hopeful, Mr. Arinze Nzelu said his choice of joining National Conscience Party, NCP was informed by the leadership and the integrity of the political party which he said would enthrone peaceful democracy in the country beyond other political parties.   
Mr. Nzelu further said that the party through its founder, late Gani Fawhemi had sacrificed his life for the good governance, adding that with the party in place, the democratic system in the country shall be upheld.
