In his sermon, the guest speaker, Ven. Prof. Onyinye Okpala, from Isialangwa Diocese urged Christians to trust and obey the word of God in other to be blessed in the Lord.
He observed that many Christians attend church
service but shield their minds assimilating the word of God which he said, was
essential for healthy Christian living.
Churches, he said, must focus on prayers and cast their hope on God's intervention.

The Bishop said that Christians should always be encouraged by the humility of Jesus and his death on the cross and emulates Jesus in their activities and conduct, as he declared that the celebration of the 7th anniversary shall mark the beginning of blessings for the church and it's members.
On his own part, the Archdeacon East Niger, Ven. Elochukwu E. Obike, revealed the need for evangelism, as he argued that evangelism is only the way children of God can be able to win many souls for Christ.
He urged them
to continue to work hard, in order to continue winning souls for God, "go
out there in the world and preach the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ, as
many will be converted in Jesus name. For persistence is that don’t quit that’s
in you, and perseverance is to navigate safely over the obstacles that befall
you to get to a place of success".
He charged Christians to show Christ like character in their various businesses and offices even when there are challenges/obstacles. He also advised parents to be mindful the way their children dress, pointing out that bad dressing code breads immorality.
In his remarks, the resident Priest Rev. Henry Okonkwo, extolled the members and all the guests who according to him, devoted their time in honouring their invitation to the anniversary, even as he prayed for God's Blessings and protection upon everyone that attended the anniversary.

“God has been good to us, this church is a successful church. Am glad to say that this church has been growing from strength to strength and I declared by God's grace, that by this time next year, we will be celebrating our 8th Anniversary on our own Land and building. Right now, we're still on a rented place but we're hoping God for a land"
Other highlights of the Anniversary were the presentation of Certificate of Recognition to the Mission Partner(MP), Cutting of Anniversary Cake and Fund raising for purchase of a piece of land for the building of the permanent site for the church.
