Tension In Nnewi As Catholic Priest ,Fr Okoye Dies In His Sleep

                

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that a Catholic Priest with St Peter’s Claver Catholic Church Ukpor, Nnewi South local government Area Anambra state , Rev Fr Christopher Cosmos Okoye  is dead. He rose with Christ on Ascension day to the consternation of many worshipers.

                                                  

Fr Okoye died on the Ascension day in his room and was hale and hearty without  inkling of ailment but suddenly died, sources said. He conducted the ascension day mass before retiring to his room but never woke.

Late Fr Okoye is from Ozubulu in Ihiala local government  and immediately he died probably in line with doctrine of the Catholic Church the Bishop of Nnewi diocese rushed  down and took over his room locked it up and went to Ozubulu and did the same . That was an indication that the church has taken over.

odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that efforts to speak to Bishop Hilary Okeke or the Cathoilc Communication Director , Rev Fr Hyginus Aghauno proved abortive as at the time of filling in this report.
