Boko Haram Scare In Anambra State

                                                   

 odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the influx of strange faces in Awka , the Anambra state capital , recently is a source of concern to the people of the area now.

The strangers suspected to be from the northern part of the country current engage predominantly in commercial motor cycling business.

" They are in Okada business(commercial motor cyclists). That is how they begin. In that doing , they would learn the geography of the place , and when the chips are down they would unleash their usual mayhem . We are suspecting that they are members of the dangerous sect.

Continuing , our source further submitted that " we are suspecting that they came in from our neigbouring Enugu state where they committed some atrocities some weeks ago , including raping of farmers in their farms.

Effort to get police reaction to the development yielded no result as the Police Public Relations Offficer ,(PPRO) Emeka Chukwuemeka on several attempts did not pick the call of this reporter.

But , Mr Nwaeze , a resident of the state said there was no need to panic because according to him, " our vigilantes are equal to the task. The governor is on top of the security situation in the state."
He said "but let me tell you if any bomb explodes in any part of this state and we trace it to these people , you will know that we are not cowards. You will see that Igbo spartan spirit is still in us.
" We learnt they have "police protection" because of their link with top hierarchy of the organization , but we are not losing any sleep on that.
But other respondents who spoke to this reporter on condition of anonymity called for extra security vigilance by the people of the state as according to them prevention is better than cure.
