Bishop Abiodun Ogunyemi Says APC Won’t Win Presidency In 2015 , Says New Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Is An Imposition

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the Anglican fathers world over last week celebrated their Fathers Sunday. It appears to be over but the activities of Fathers at Church of the Holy Spirit Awka inside Paul University Awka Anambra state compound reverberated today making it impossible for the news to be dead on arrival.

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the highpoint of this year’s fathers’ day celebration at the Church of Holy Spirit Awka led by Sir Tochukwu Arubalaeze were visitation to Motherless babies home during which they donated provisions, detergents, clothing among others; seminar, entitled “Security, Health and Morality, the Role of the Fathers”; free health check-up, novelty football match and thanksgiving service.

At the seminar, the Anglican Bishop of Damaturu, Rt. Rev. Abiodun Ogunyemi has called on Christians to pray fervently for God’s wisdom to envelop and direct the affairs of President Goodluck Jonathan towards ending insurgency in the country.

Bishop Abiodun in a commemoration of this year’s fathers’ day, bemoaned what he termed “International Conspiracy To Islamize Nigeria”.

According to him, the rising spate of insecurity in the country was sponsored by international communities, especially Arab countries so as to convert the whole Africa to Islam.

The Damaturu Bishop, therefore enjoined Christians to remain steadfast and always pray for Jonathan and his cabinet, because according to him, the President is weak to take action due to bad Christian advisers all round him.

Also, Abiodun posited that neither the All Progressive Congress (APC) nor a Muslim would ever rule Nigeria as a president, even as he alleged that Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, recently sworn Emir of Kano was imposed on Kano people against their wishes by “APC who had swore to unleash terror on Christians in Kano and to also forestall President Jonathan’s re-election in 2015”.

The Anglican Bishop, however, warned Christians in the north, Kano state most especially never to relent in showing love and care to Muslims even as Christ loved us, but to be wise as serpent.

Additionally, he charged government to beef-up security at the airport and borders so as to foil any attempt by the insurgents to penetrate Eastern and Western part of the country.
According to him, members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) are currently compromising their faith for material gains from top politicians.

On the ongoing National Confab, Bishop Abiodun implored delegates to kick against regionalism noting that it would expel doom on Northern Christians because their government to be shall impose Sharia law on all irrespective of religious affiliations.
In a lecture entitled “A Healthy Home is a Wealthy Home”, Rev. Dr. Chukwudi Aniago underscored the importance of balanced-diet and further charged people to maintain regular medical check-up to avoid premature death.

Speaking in an interview, Sir Tochukwu Arubalaeze, Chairman of Fathers Fellowship, Church of Holy Spirit, admonished fathers to assist mothers in ensuring proper child up-bringing so as leave indelible marks worthy emulation to their children.
