Willie Obiano’s government has gone into full automation of all vehicle
licenses through its Anambra state motor vehicle administration system (AMVAS)
in conjunction with Messrs Oliswarren Associates Limited – a renowned
electronic solutions provider and MVA Consultants to the State to complement
the already existing AUTOREG, a web based business solution experts,

transforming the state into full automated state.
He said that
the Anambra State Government, in its
drive to employ automation in enhancing revenue collection in the State, has
launched the Anambra Motor Vehicle Administration System (AMVAS) automation
solution, to complement the already existing Autoreg, in conjunction with
Messrs Oliswarren Associates Limited – a renowned electronic solutions provider
and MVA Consultants to the State.
AMVAS is a
unique platform that automates all facets of motor vehicle documentation with a
special module for electronic management of plate number
Issuances
and administrative module to enable the State Internal Revenue Service monitor
every transaction in all motor licensing offices in the State and generate
specific reports. AMVAS is the only one of its kind in the Country.
Anambra has
already joined the league of more than 20 other States, in Nigeria that have
automated their motor vehicle documentation using Autoreg.

informs that the Autoreg/AMVAS solution will automate all motor vehicle
documentations to; generate more revenue from the State by plugging illegal
income inherent in the subsisting manual vehicle documentation, sanitize the
vehicle documentation processes and also build a comprehensive database for the

vehicles.

those criminal elements, who embark on producing fake documents and number
plates that their days are numbered, as a special task force comprising of; the
Nigeria Police, FRSC, SSS, VIO and State Traffic Agencies will be constituted
to commence strict enforcement soon.
He implored
on all vehicle owners to quickly go and renew their vehicle documents, at any
Motor Licensing Office in the State where AMVAS/AUTOREG is present so that they
can get genuine documents and plates at official prices as verification of all
motor vehicle documents, especially number plates, will soon commence in order
to sanitize the entire motor vehicle administration system in the State.
On his part,
Mr. Aniunoh’s associate and Deputy Group Managing Director, Mr. Marcel Manafa
said that Anambra State is embarking on an IT revolution and joked that, ‘‘as
Chief Willie Obiano will say, ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet’ because nnekwu nmawu

the full automation will assist enhance transparency and accountability since
it is all online real time solution that enables transaction seen
