Ok,here's my thoughts on this. It means your relationship is in trouble, if not over. You should be best friends with your significant other. If you can't vision that person beside you in some trench in the middle of war,then you are probably forcing a relationship or at least are content in it. Neither are good.
Here is a simple test. If you walk into the room and he is watching some fine chick in a bikini on t.v. and then turns the channel immediately, there is no connection between you two. he is not comfortable with sharing that with you(remember the best friend thing).
