Breaking News: Boko Haram Leader Says ''We Abducted Chibok School Girls''

Boko Haram terrorist group today took responsibility for the abduction of hundreds of schoolgirls from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, in Nigeria’s troubled North-East.

About 230 girls are still believed to be missing, prompting widespread criticism of the Nigerian government.
“I abducted your girls,” Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said in a video obtained by the AFP news agency.
The girls were abducted from their hostel in the night of on April 14 and only 53 of them have managed to escape.
Yesterday afternoon, the Northern States Christian and Elders Forum (NOCSEF), an affiliate of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), released the names of abducted 180 girls comprising 165 Christians and 15 Muslims.
Last night in his Presidential Media Chat, Goodluck Jonathan dismissed reports that his administration is negotiating with the abductors of the girls, pointing out that nobody has come out to claim responsibility for the act while Boko Haram is a faceless organization.
