APC Slaps Senator Ngige , Reschedules Fresh Congress In Anambra


                           
The All Progress Congress (APC) has fixed Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a fresh congress in Anambra State.

Following the controversy that trailed the party's ward, local government and state congress last month, APC according to a statement signed by the party's Interim National Secretary, Tijjani Musa Tumsah, re-constituted a nine-man committee to review the Anambra State Congress.
The Secretary of the panel, Dr. Ahmed Aminu, disclosed that the National Working Committee of APC in order to ensure justice and fairness in the party re-constituted Anambra Congress Committee to meet with stakeholders of the party calling for a fress congress in ward, council and the state.
After our investigation, the secretary of the newly re-constituted committee, it was observed that some people who went to bank to buy forms for the congress were given the opportunity to participate in the congress which was undemocratic.
According to him, "The congress at ward level would take place on Monday May 5, whilc the council would take place on Wednesday May 7 and the state congress on Friday May 9."
Aminu advised members of the party Anambra to embrace, adding that APC was a merger of major opposition parties in the country with the aim of tranforming Nigeria, saying that only for the party to achieve its aim is to maintain justice and fairness in the party.
"Without stability in the party, APC vision and mission of the party would be cut short," the secretary of the committee added.
