FROM NANS SENATE SECRETARIAT. DISCLAIMER The Attention of the Senate Secretariat of National Association of Nigerian Students'(NANS) have been drawn over the purported letter of Invitation to NANS convention illegally written and uploaded on facebook/online media by one John Shima, expelled former Deputy senate President. 


The senate secretariat has not issued out or discussed a date for the NANS convention. The secretariat is on the move to call for a Pre-convention soon where date and venue for the convention will be chosen as constitutionally required. We wish to warn all Student's union presidents, students, school authorities, Government agencies, NANS comrades, Stakeholders and the general public to stop dealing with the imposter John Shima and disregard his letter. We reaffirm that the authentic Senate President remains Sen. Maxwell Nyanabo Soye of University of Port harcourt and the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Henry Mark of Benue state University. We therefore call on the Nigerian police Force, State security Services and all other security agencies to be at alert and apprehend John Shima and treat him as a fraudster.
