Obiano Visits The Toll Free Call Center For Information Against Armed Robbers, Kidnappers And Smugglers Among Others



Governor Willie Obiano tof Anambra state has visited the Emergency Call Centre (ECC) at Awka where citizenry call toll free number ‘112’ for attention and assistance during emergencies like armed robbery attack, kidnapping,  fire disaster to emn tion but a few.  If you are in danger just call '112' and your problem is over.



 Obiano accompanied by the Commissioner of Police Mr AU Gwary, other Security Service Chiefs and the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze said the center is in furtherance of his enhanced security mosaic for Anambra State. 

He has declared Anambra State a "Zero Tolerance  Zone" for crime an criminality and noted he was very impressed with the standard, and neatness of the centre, which has 60 staff . 





He added that he intended to support the expansion of the existing infrastructure at the ECC to make it more robust and responsive.

The managerial staff of the centre appealed for welfare, mobility, security and other assistance from the government.  The governor promised the centre a staff bus and said he would look into the top other requests in due course.
