Final Year Medical Student Raped , Murdered In Obafemi Awolowo University; The Orphan Suffered To Get To 500 level In Medicine

                             

The sight is more astonishing than in the Northern Nigeria were Boko Haram on Saturday killed over 70 people in what appears like a revenge attack in Gombe state and has killed several people numbering over 10,000 in Northern states put together.

Those thousands also killed by herdsmen in Plataea , Zamfara, Benue to mention but a few are still as not gory as this tale, coming from a citadel of learning not herdsmen, or Boko Haram,  not even kidnappers or armed robbers but students who willingly joined cult groups. 

The gory sight of Elizabeth (surname withheld) a final year medicine student at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, South west Nigeria exposed the wickedness in our hearts even when we profess Christianity and proclaim Islam.

She was raped and murdered just because she refused to sleep with some cultists in the School. The cultists not only raped her by force, but went a step further by killing her and then scraped out her private part for rituals.

After the horrifying episode, her body was thrown on the street. What a hell of students. Are these maroons not from families?

Sources in the University said that her father died when she was 9yrs and her mother had been the one catering for her since then. Her mother was said to have suffered to educate her up to 500 level as a medical student.

What a life wasted for nothing?
