Boko Haram Scar Hits Onitsha: MASSOB Urges Onitsha Residents To Be Vigilant

                           

Boko Haram scar has hit Onitsha, Anambra State following the influx of Herdsmen and suspicious influx of Huasa Fulani in the state.


The suspicious group allegedly arrived in about six Hiace passenger buses were later moved to Haruna, Bida and Kano Streets where Hausa traders mostly live.

To this regards, the Movement for Actualization of Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) raised alarm calling on residents in Anambra state, particularly, Onitsha and its environs to be vigilant.

MASSOB asked residents to report any suspicious movement of Hausa Fulani people around them to Nigeria security agents and stressed that the group’s call for security consciousness became necessary in view of Saturday massive influx of people suspected to be members of Boko Haram into Okpoko community in Ogbaru L.G.A of Anambra state.

The statement added that the men could be members of the Islamic sect. some of who are now fleeing the north to area they consider safer.

MASSOB reminded that the order by Boko Haram in 2012 that Southerners and Christians living in the North should leave or incur their wrath has not been withdrawn.
