PDP woman leader , others killed in auto crash

                            

A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Women leader in Takau ward in Jama’a LGA of Kaduna State and five others yesterday died in a motor accident along the Kafanchan -Kaduna road.

Tina Yakubu and the other five deceased were on a trip to attend a weeding in Kaduna town when the accident happened. A resident, Black Ayuba, said the women leader died alongside her step mother who was also on the journey.
“We lost our PDP women leader in Takau Ward through a ghastly motor accident along Kafanchan - Kaduna road. They were on their way to a wedding of one of their sisters. Six of them died including her step mother,” Ayuba said. He disclosed that others who sustained injuries were receiving treatment in a government hospital. The spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kaduna, Mr. Japheth Martins Dajangla, who could not confirmed the incident said they were yet to receive signals concerning the crash.
