Disclaimer!!!!!
It has come to the notice of the members of the Anambra State Children's Parliament that the Speaker, Rt. Hon Uchime Ken-Micheal wrote an "address" which was published in "The Nation" newspaper of Dec. 27th 2013.
The members of the Parliament therefore wish to use this medium to address the issue and state clearly that Rt. Hon Uchime Ken-Micheal published false address on his own and never consulted any of us, the members.
Furthermore, we wish to state emphatically that the contents of the address is false and thus the Parliament still holds our amiable, dynamic and child friendly Governor, Mr. Peter Obi in high esteem as he has always been supportive to all the activities of the Parliament.

My stand
Mr Peter Obi has being a great Governor and also child frendly.why do
we condemn a man who has organised childrens holiday camp every year,
distributed laptops to parliamentarians, made us sat and with him on
childrens day, funded all our transport through the directorates of the
ministry,he has done more than we can imagine. In abuja we were told
to always remember that the parliament is a small body under ministry
of women affairs and social developement and also that d ministry is
one of the ministries with low money allocation. Then why should we
say the goverment is not trying.we have free access to the
commissioner, director and other top officials of the ministry.having
being told by the director and commissioner to at anytime visit and
talk to them.what more can we ask of the governor who is a very busy
man. Who among the parliament can stand and say that we are not
funded. Iam in charge of most of the project in the parliament.we are
funded. For the magazine the speaker and the deputy are the reason why
it hasnt been published. They where told to arrange for an interview
and since then we havent heard anything from them. Why should we blame
the government, the governor and the directorates of the ministry.
Parliamentarian we are holding ourself let not blame others.
